So let's start with the fun stuff. This afternoon we had another one of our "woodland visitors" in our backyard. Every once in awhile, a deer will come to eat our plants and grass. And since Miles & I both love deer more than we love our landscaping, we always just let them have their way in our backyard. I just love living in North Idaho!
And now for the latest on the kids. Both of S's grandparents have asked to have her, so after the first of the year she'll probably go to one of them. There is a hearing next week and we'll know more after that.
J has a hearing on January 25. There are still a lot of concerns with his mom, and thankfully his social worker is in agreement with us about these concerns and is working on addressing them. He has an assigned court advocate who rarely sees him or talks to us, so I'm going to request to have his advocate changed. I am going to request the same lady who advocated for T because she fought tooth and nail for her best interests. Unfortunately, J's advocate is less than concerned about things that are such obvious safety issues to every one else on the team. Please, please keep praying for him and for God to have His hand on J's life. Also pray for discernment for the social worker, advocate and judge to be wise in making decisions.
