Family

Today T met her fully biological brother. He is 2 1/2 years old and is in the process of being adopted by dad's cousin. They came to visit for the weekend from California to meet T because the cousin is interested in adopting T if mom and dad lose their parental rights. They visited for a couple of hours today and it went well. She is a wonderful Christian lady who obviously loves her son and would be a good mom for T if called to that role one day. The boy liked meeting his little sister, and was a typical active toddler boy. T responded really well to both of them, and didn't act as shy as she usually does around new people. We also learned all of the things that they have in common -- the "Donald Trump" hair growth pattern as babies, a dislike for fruit, a bent toward left-handedness, similar health issues, etc. And, the eyes! I learned a lot about the family history, but more than that it was good to see T with her family that loves her. God has a plan for her life and we are blessed to be a part of it for this short time.
